Posted on 11 February 2018
Seventeen are back! On February 5, Seventeen revealed their new music video for “Thanks”, the lead single of their special second album repackage “Director’s Cut”. Seventeen achieved a combined total of more than 2 million views on YouTube for their “Thanks” music video in less than 24 hours.
The “Thanks” music video opens up with Seventeen asleep on the bus on the way to the studio, and start off their day at the cafeteria. Seventeen later get together in the recording room to sing their latest single, move to the dance studio to practice their new dance moves, check out their outfits and makeup in the dressing room, and keep the dance party going in the parking lot.
Seventeen’s new single “Thanks” explores the future bass genre, blending in synths and highlighting the group’s moving vocals. Seventeen’s second repackaged album “Director’s Cut” add four new songs to the 13-track original album “Teen, Age”: “Thinkin’ About You”, lead single “Thanks”, “I’m Going to Find You Now”, and “Falling for U”.
Seventeen made their previous comeback last November, with their second album “Teen, Age”. In the music video for the lead single “Clap”, Seventeen are getting a set ready to film a music video. Seventeen switch things up and start clapping and dancing in between preparing the music video sets, and wind down later in a playground-like area on set after editing their new video.
