J-Hope from BTS Flies Toward His Dreams Like an “Airplane” in New Music Video

J-HOPE Airplane

J-Hope from BTS is back again for his solo debut! On March 7, J-Hope unveiled the new music video for “Airplane”, one of the songs on his first ever mixtape “Hope World”. The music video for “Airplane” achieved more than 5.8 million views in less than 24 hours.

The music video for Airplane” starts off with a breathtaking view of the city lights at night from above, and J-Hope entering the building. J-Hope soon drops his lines on the rooftop and around his ride, while watching airplanes fly above him one by one, dancing in the sky surrounded by clouds, and rapping while a panoramic view of the city blazes by like a fast ride.

The song “Airplane” goes into how J-Hope always looks back on his childhood dream of flying on an airplane someday and how it eventually became real, whenever he’s up in the air traveling to a new place as a singer and artist. J-Hope’s first mixtape “Hope World” features a total of seven new tracks: “Hope World”, “P.O.P (Piece of Peace) Pt.1”, “Daydream”, “Base Line”, “Hangsang (Feat. Supreme Boi)”, “Airplane”, and “Blue Side (Outro)”.

J-Hope made his solo debut last week, following in the footsteps of fellow BTS members RM and Suga, with his first mixtape “Hope World” on March 2. On the same day, J-Hope also released a music video for “Daydream”, another song on the mixtape. In the video, J-Hope looks like he’s just waken up, only for the place to turn dreamlike with dazzling colors as he starts making lots of fun things happen all around.
