AOA Make First Comeback of the Year with Double MV’s “Excuse Me” and “Bing Bing”
Posted on 07 January 2017
AOA are back, as the first K-pop group to make their comeback this 2017! On January 2, AOA unveiled two new music videos for “Excuse Me” and “Bing Bing”, along with their first full-length album “Angel’s Knock”. AOA play as detectives in “Excuse Me”, and switch to becoming magicians in “Bing Bing”.
In the music video for “Excuse Me”, AOA are on a mission to track down a mysterious man – checking their map closely, they track him down to a phone booth, downtown, the train, and finally, the interrogation room – with their coordinated new choreography for the song shown in between. For the “Bing Bing” music video, AOA are fully dressed up as magicians playing all sorts of tricks – with a magic chair, a magician’s hat, a deck of playing cards, and even a water tank – in between dancing on a lit stage.
AOA’s first ever full album “Angel’s Knock”, released on the same day, includes 10 songs – double lead singles “Excuse Me” and “Bing Bing”, “Three Out”, “Feeling”, “Can’t Sleep”, “Lily (feat. Rowoon of SF9)”, “Melting Love”, Korean remakes of their Japanese songs “Oh Boy” and “Give Me the Love” (re-titled “Help Me”), and “With Elvis” - a song dedicated to AOA’s fandom, Elvis, with the lyrics being written by the members themselves.
AOA made their previous comeback in the May of last year, with their single and fifth mini album “Good Luck”. In the music video, AOA play as lifeguards and dance near the beach. In 2016, AOA also debuted their second sub-unit, AOA Cream, with “I’m Jelly Baby”. Jimin also became the first member of AOA to make a solo debut, with “Call You Bae”, featuring EXO’s Xiumin.
